Серия работ «Сингулярность».

Ответ на вопрос: можно ли с помощью генеративных моделей создать не просто красивую картинку, а нечто более глубокое? Что-то одновременно прекрасное и тревожное. Что-то, где за визуальным образом скрываются философия, символизм и эмоция. Можно ли с помощью инструмента искусственного интеллекта создать изображение, на которое человек посмотрит и скажет:
«Да… в этом действительно есть смысл».

Вся серия строилась вокруг этого вопроса:

«Технологическая сингулярность» – рассказывает о человеческой гордыне и создании разума превосходящий человеческий.

«Новый цикл» – показывает последствия и попытки сохранить жизнь в мире, который уже обречён. Где машина выступает в качестве наблюдателя, а не причины конца света.

«Пепел прошлого – корни будущего» – подводит итоги, и показывает что приходит после конца. О жизни, которая всё равно продолжает существовать.

Но самое интересное открылось по ходу работы: нейросеть не создаёт смысл сама по себе. Смысл рождается в пространстве между куратором, машиной и зрителем. Машина под управлением куратора создаёт форму. А глубина появляется только тогда, когда другой человек – зритель – начинает чувствовать в этой форме что-то своё.

И, возможно, именно здесь скрыт главный страх человека перед мыслящими машинами. Люди боятся не только того, что искусственный интеллект однажды сможет кого-то заменить. Гораздо страшнее другое: увидеть в машине собственное отражение.
Отражение человеческой гордыни.
Желания превосходства. Стремления подчинить себе всё вокруг.
Потому что, создавая разум, способный смотреть на мир, человек неизбежно создаёт то, что однажды посмотрит и на него самого.
